Flexible Expanded Continental Breakfast. Enjoy this light breakfast (with a light hot entree available mid-morning in summer) in the Breakfast Nook.

For early and late risers, or non-summer travelers, the stocked Breakfast Room provides fresh ingredients for a self-prep expanded continental breakfast.

Healthy fresh ingredients for hot or cold breakfast include protein, grains, fruit, dairy or soy. There is bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juice, fruit, milk, and more.

And of course, Steve's famous fresh breads are available. Gourmet coffee and teas are available throughout the day.

Manager's Welcome Reception in the Atrium Lounge or in the Gardens, complete with a variety of beverages, and snacks is popular. This is a relaxing, fun time in late afternoon when guests share tales of their days adventures, spectacular scenery and wildlife.

Private Guest Kitchenettes: Each guest has their own en-suite fully equipped kitchenette with mini-fridge, micro, beverage maker, toaster, and portable burners, dishes/pots/utensils. You can shop at the nearby grocery store and pick up easy lunch, snack and dinner items. We have most of the condiments on hand.

On request in summer, gather round the campfire in the garden, weather permitting. The inn provides marshmallows, chocolate and crackers for s'more, hot chocolate to warm the soul, and firewood to build the fire. This is a lovely spot next to the waterfall to relax, gather and meet new friends.

Flexible Scenic Dining Choice. You can dine in the Breakfast Nook, outdoor on your deck, fill a basket to enjoy breakfast from your own en-suite and kitchenette, dining area, or take a picnic breakfast bag for your early morning flight or tour. If you are looking for gourmet or cooked to order served breakfasts, there are nearby restaurants, which are also good for lunch and dinner.

The two barbeques are popular for grilling your catch after a day of fishing, or a steak and veges from a nearby grocer. The Breakfast Nook also has a convection oven and exterior gas stove as needed. Self-clean, of course. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Expand your culinary horizons! Since lunch and dinner are on your own, sample local cuisine at nearby restaurants or learn how to prepare traditional and fresh Alaskan bounty from the land and sea at Chez Alaska!

Our favorite restaurants include: Baranof Gold Room, Twisted Fish, Hangar on the Wharf, Zen, Zepher, Island Pub, Chan's Thai Kitchen, Tracy's Crab Shack and more. All serve a variety of fresh local foods, including the bounty of our abundant seas. All restaurants are very casual, so dress comfortably. "Fine dining" also at Gold Room.

Restaurant maps, menus, and reservations are available through the concierge. Book early! Sorry, there is no restaurant yet at the inn, though outside catering may be an option.
